The Essentials manual meets all of the requirements for NFPA 1000, Fire Fighter levels I and II. Chapter 15, Fire Control, is presented in its entirety. Each chapter opens with a case history and concludes with a list of end-of-chapter review questions. In addition, shortened versions of the skills sheets are presented.
The questions in the Print Study Guide help students access their understanding of the content of each chapter in the Essentials manual. Questions are presented in a multiple-choice format, which helps students prepare for a typical certification exam. The study guide's wire spiral binding allows it to open flat.
